Truman "Tex" Clevenger is an ex-professional baseball player who spent eight years in the Big Leagues from 1954-1962. He played in two World Series with the New York Yankees in 1961 and 1962. Tex had the honor of playing with Hall of Famers like Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, and Harmon Killebrew. |
| Tex became involved in the car business in 1973. He and his wife, Dona, purchased the dealership in 1992. Tex and Dona say the goal of Clevenger Ford is "to provide the highest quality of sales and service to the great people of Tulare County and surrounding areas." In order to meet that goal, Clevenger Ford has the most high-tech, experienced body shop in the San Joaquin Valley and highly trained, skilled experts in the sales, service and parts departments. |
